The business was first founded in 1993 in a nearby town, Castelvetro and moved to the current headquarters ten years later. The name of the business contains the word \u201cpelle<\/em>\u201d \u2013 leather \u2013 linked to the origins of Mr. Giovini\u2019s activity opened as a consequence of important work experience gained at his uncle\u2019s laundry. Back then, facing the fashion market and fashion itself where leather was still widely used, washing leather garments such as jackets or skirts perfectly well meant being one huge step ahead.<\/p>\n

\"20161103_181845\"\u201cWe acquired a vocation for becoming specialized at our work, for a targeted service, for focusing on details and taking care of them in the first place \u2013 says Giuliano Giovini. \u2013 So, when the use of leather started declining in the business and it started mixing with other materials used in garment production, the shape and mindset of our company had already been prepared for the change and the interception of new requests and new treatment opportunities expressed by our clients\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"20161103_092202\"Nowadays, the result is that Artepelle, aiming at high quality, has become a sort of a permanent creative laboratory where clients come searching for excellent services that often include particular and customized requests. \u201cLet me talk about the latest two cases, quite illuminating for our service offer \u2013 Giovini explains. \u2013 The first one was a request by an important fashion designer. We needed to intervene on finish parts that had been excessively colored on 800 goose-down winter jackets. So, we first carried out some tests, then proceeded with the use of perchloroethylene whose high solvent power let us solve the problem entirely\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"20161103_093021\"\u201cRight after that \u2013 the owner of Artepelle continues \u2013 a big clothing company knocked on our door. The problem they asked us to solve concerned washing some wrongly pleated skirts finished with small beads. In that case, we immediately thought of applying an alternative and natural solvent like GreenEarth whose name recalls the fact that it was made of sand silicon and not of petrol derivatives. In the end, we made the client happy and satisfied, which comforts us in the choice of becoming consultants, among other things, for those who have chosen to become our clients\u201d.<\/p>\n

Multiple solutions proposed by Artepelle are all based on the philosophy of offering the best one can find at a laundry today. \u201cTherefore, \u2013 Giuliano Giovini explains \u2013 I believe the choice we made years ago when we decided to adopt wet cleaning exclusively was extremely important, as water guarantees the basis of cleaning that translates to well-being and environment protection. \u00a0We apply this philosophy at every stage of work, where the dosing pumps play a significant role too, thanks to which we never allow the wool to felt or we can guarantee a dosage of anti-bacterial product at the last washing cycle\u201d.<\/p>\n

The result we have in front of our very eyes, not the final one, but the evolving one is an exemplary artisan laundry of our times inspired by a motto written on the home page of their website: \u201cIf you have a particular garment you care about, come to us\u201d. It means relying on Mr. and Mrs. Giovini and their five employees, who will soon be joined by their young son Nicol\u00f2 in the name of the family continuity, decisive for keeping the excellent business level. \u00a0\u201cHere, we do not have any problems to say that washing a pair of trousers costs 6.40 euro \u2013 Giuliano Giovini adds \u2013 the price is definitely above the medium fare as all our fares are. However, we can see that these prices do not create any kind of problems to our clients who regularly come here a number of times a year, even from other towns in our region. It means that Artepelle has no competition in solving the clients\u2019 problems\u201d.<\/p>\n
