And now, it is going to make the\u00a0most of their new headquarters, just opened\u00a0in the new Energy Park in Vimercate<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ecolab has succeeded in creating trailblazing innovations\u00a0that make the world a safer, cleaner and healthier\u00a0place thanks to the different divisions that operate in\u00a0different markets: healthcare, food, hospitality, industrial\u00a0laundries, energy markets. Ecolab delivers comprehensive\u00a0solutions and onsite services to meet cleaning\u00a0and safety needs of the customers in more than\u00a0170 countries in the world.
\nOn March 23, the ribbon was cut in the new building\u00a0in the innovative sustainable technological business\u00a0centre Energy Park in Vimercate. Ecolab has relocated\u00a0its Italian headquarters to Vimercate, moving just\u00a0a few kilometres away from its former location. The\u00a0old office was located in Agrate Brianza in the Colleoni\u00a0business centre.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by Ecolab\u2019s European\u00a0and local management teams, about 120 employees
\nfrom the new location. The major of Vimercate Francesco\u00a0Sartini cut the official ribbon. Also architects Paolo\u00a0Garretti and Mauro Ferroni, the Managing Director of\u00a0Segro, a company that owns the new \u201cEnergy Park\u201d\u00a0buildings attended the event. Alberto Serafini, VP and\u00a0Market Head South Europe did the honours: \u201cIt was\u00a0time for Ecolab Italy to find a new home\u201d, he started in\u00a0a big hall crowded with people and continued: \u201cWith\u00a0the Galileo project we aimed at offering our associates\u00a0a great place to work. I think we reached our goals by\u00a0choosing a modern location just a few kilometres away\u00a0from the old one.<\/p>\n

Since the start, it was clear that the\u00a0Energy Park was our best choice\u201d.
\nArchitect Garretti explained the concept and philosophy \u00a0at the base of the Energy Park and highlighted \u00a0its innovation and environmental sustainability. Environmental\u00a0and sustainable strategies, and energy saving\u00a0actions have been implemented to best provide\u00a0a unique and comfortable work place in the buildings\u00a0with the least environmental impact possible: sun path\u00a0studies and bioclimatic factor optimization to provide\u00a0minimum light trespass and reduction of sky-glow, the\u00a0reduction of wastewater and potable water, displacement\u00a0of recyclable resources and reusable materials, solar heating
\nin winter and passive cooling in summer have been\u00a0some of the distinctive features of the project.<\/p>\n

The companies located in these buildings inside the Energy\u00a0Park have been selected and chosen as their standards match the sustainability and innovation concepts\u00a0promoted by architect Garretti for the Energy Park.
\nBrand relevance visibility of the buildings and an easy access\u00a0to the nearby cities together with great green areas\u00a0all around contribute to the uniqueness and the special\u00a0nature of this new location.
\nDarrell Brown, the Executive Vice President and the\u00a0President of Ecoab Europe said: \u201cThis is for sure one of\u00a0the best offices in Europe\u201d. Ecolab has a strong focus\u00a0on people and their well-being that is why, it offers the\u00a0highest standards in terms of safety, comfort and innovation.

\nEcolab has chosen the unique technology of emulsion\u00a0to create their main liquid detergents within the
\ndifferent programs applying special technology \u201cto do\u00a0more with less\u201d!
\nThe particular nature of the emulsions, patented technology\u00a0ensures brilliant washing results in different
\nconditions of water hardness, metal presence and\u00a0different types of soil: the emulsions are-shot detergents\u00a0that contain a special mix of surfactants, optical\u00a0brighteners, complexing and anti-scaling agents,\u00a0anti-greying agents, which constitute all the necessary\u00a0components to wash, except the bleach!
\n\"\"Thanks to this special \u201ccompacted\u201d nature (they contain\u00a0less water than the usual detergents), the emulsions\u00a0can incorporate water-insoluble components,\u00a0without any risk of separation. Ecolab has developed\u00a0a brand new generation of emulsions, efficient at washing\u00a0at low temperatures, thanks to the special mix of\u00a0innovative surfactants and other active ingredients. All\u00a0of them are easily washable and have an Ecolabel or\u00a0Nordic Swan version.
\nBased on the new technology of the main detergent,\u00a0Ecolab has created highly efficient programs, such
\nas OxyGuard™40 and Performance\u00ae Industrial, with\u00a0respectively Oxyguard emulsion and Performance\u00ae\u00a0emulsion that differ in terms of type and content of surfactants\u00a0and that work on specific oil and grease dirt,\u00a0complexing and anti-greying agents.
\nAnother step ahead in the sustainable innovation is the\u00a0new technology used in the program Perfomance Industrial.
\nIt helps wash the garments better preserving\u00a0their technical features and getting the soil out of the
\nfibres: the \u201csoil removing technology\u201d, SRT, combines\u00a0the latest developments in the chemical field with compounds\u00a0that are effective on the fibres and that prevent\u00a0the soil from entering the fibres and re-deposit on textiles\u00a0contributing to their easy wash.
\nIn the Performance\u00ae Industrial program, Ecolab developed new, easy to wash and alkali formulations with new\u00a0and safer components for the textiles. Performance\u00ae\u00a0Emulsion, Performance\u00ae Ultraboost and Performance\u00ae\u00a0booster work together in perfect synergy to adapt the anti-soiling and emulsifying power to dirt and textiles: maximum\u00a0efficiency combined with the best textile protection.<\/p>\n
