Eleven months from now, the best of innovation and sustainability in the laundries of XXI century will be exhibited at EXPOdetergo International. Trends\u00a0<\/strong>registered during other trade fairs this year reveal that a sell-out is to be expected<\/strong>

\nThe boom of attendance registered at Host and reported in one of the articles in this Detergo issue together with other trade fairs trends scheduled for this year, e.g. Micam, footwear at the Milan RHO exhibition (+5,9% visitors) or Mipel, The Bagshow, leather goods exhibition (+10% exhibitors) undoubtedly reflect an increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors. Fiera Milano, clearly reflecting a long awaited economic recovery of the country today, is in the meantime looking forward to another great event scheduled for 19 \u2013 22 October 2018, EXPOdetergo International, a world leading exhibition of laundry machines, technology, products and services.
\nEleven months to go and we are dealing with important figures already: more than 12 thousand square meters sold (three quarters of all the available exhibiting space) and 159 exhibitors signed up.
\n\"\"The numbers are not the only reason to look forward to the exhibition. Apart from the fact that the sales of the exhibiting space are growing, also the economic situation of the market is slightly more positive today than in year 2014, when the crisis was getting to the end. Therefore, the hopes for a \u201crecord\u201d show 2018 have been set high.
\nOnce again, the key word is going to be \u201cinnovation\u201d.
\nIt will relate to topics like: completely automated linen treatment lines aiming at energy saving; more than a hundred kg capacity washing machines designed for reduced spaces; RFID tags for tracing and sorting linen thanks to which linen loss is reduced; ironing machines with the capacity of ironing more than a hundred shirts per hour reducing costs at the same time; detergents with no environmental impact.
\n\"\"As it has been underlined in every Detergo issue, sustainability will undoubtedly constitute the core interest as it has characterized the entire laundry sector over
\nthe last years. Moreover, innovation, efficiency and low environmental impact shall reveal to be the key words of the show. Exhibitors will display only new products, also through exclusive previews, providing professional update and the possibility to evaluate the best technology applied in terms of competitiveness and business performance.
\nSuch a rich variety of proposals will undoubtedly meet the expectations and requests of the visitors representing a variety of sectors, expected to come to Milan from all over the world.
