Otherwise, the fabric\u00a0could remain stained even after it was washed. The\u00a0stains are often impossible or very difficult to remove.<br \/>\nSome ingredients react, especially if activated by UV\u00a0rays or heat, by forming proper chromophores that are\u00a0usually yellow pigments. The problem of stains can,\u00a0therefore, be connected to the stability or the photo\u00a0reaction of sunscreen: a system that mainly absorbs\u00a0UV rays also starts to absorb visible blue light as a\u00a0consequence to chemical reactions during washing\u00a0processes, until the stains become yellow.
