The international textile care trade Fair returns from the 21st to the 24th of October. More than 200 exhibitors, new technologies and solutions under the name of sustainability and efficiency: the appointment with the innovation for the laundries is waiting for you at Fiera Milano<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

An important edition, not only for the special moment that we are passing through, but above all for all the added value that the technologies, new products and services can represent in a market that is experiencing a real revolution.\u00a0 Covid shuffled the cards. The industrial laundries have always continued to work (at least those dealing with the healthcare sector and RSAs) \u2013 paradoxically even more intensively \u2013 but they had to face the consequences of changing volumes.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

While the hospitals increased their demand for uniforms and flat linen, the laundries on the other hand, that have always worked with hotels and catering, have passed through periods when the work volumes have almost completely disappeared due to the mobility restrictions and generalised lockdowns. The laundries serving the accommodation facilities from the large cities, with less domestic tourism but that have always depended on the tourism from other countries, have suffered the most.<\/p>\n

The situation of the laundry shops is also complex: the long lockdown \u2013 with social restrictions and the increasing smart working \u2013 has reduced the customers. The current geopolitical situation is leading to higher costs, including high energy costs and raw material shortages. In this scenario, technologies, new services, but also the formation and updates guaranteed by the four-days trade fair become more important than ever.<\/strong> The trade fair meeting becomes more valuable: discussing, teaming up, acting as a supply chain become key elements for remaining competitive.<\/p>\n

EXPOdetergo International 2022,<\/strong> the international trade fair event waiting for us at Fiera Milano from 21 to 24 October, thanks to the proposal of more than 200 exhibiting companies,<\/strong> including many world leaders, will present tailor-made solutions for everyone: more efficient washing and ironing machines, automation systems capable of improving the performance of each activity, sustainable detergents, as the result of some years of research and development. Investing in new technologies, but also training gain new techniques, new fabrics, new management methods are a fundamental tool to better cope the current phase of change.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Three focus keys for the laundry of the future<\/strong>
\nSustainability, digitalisation, sanitisation: these are the focus keys and guidelines of an exhibition proposal that will allow all the operators \u2013 from those working in the industrial laundries to the small laundry shops owners \u2013 to remain updated and discover the greatest innovations available on the market in terms of technologies, products and services.
\n\u2022Sustainability:<\/strong> the low environmental impact and the energy efficiency are both increasingly demanded goals for the entire sector. EXPOdetergo International 2022 will display the fruits of the past years of research, in the field of: machinery, additives and detergents. Doing more with less is in fact the main goal driving the progress of the entire sector: more efficiency, hygiene and productivity obtained using less energy, water and detergents.
