\"\"<\/a>Artificially separating business from the world of cycling is a difficult operation for Battistella. The performance of Samuele (Battistella) at the Italian championship on the Apulian roads of one day before, or the sanitising virtues of GEA, the ozone sanitising cabinet, are common topics in the company.<\/p>\n

Let’s start with the professional cycling. Samuele Battistella, born in 1998, is a professional road cycling athlete since 2021. His record is studded of prestigious victories, including the world cycling title for the under 23 age categories, in 2019. The victory sprint at the world championships allowed him to step into the professionals’ world. The participation at Giro d’Italia, and to the most prestigious races in the world. Placing himself on the 3rd place at the Italian Championship in 2022, and then part of the Italian national team at the World Road Championships, in the same year. Before his venture into professional cycling, Samuele worked together with his brother, Michele (one year older), \u201chand in hand\u201d in the family business.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Michele and Samuele, grew up surrounded by the ironing machines that BATTISTELLA B.G. has been producing for over 48 years, and have absorbed and experienced since they were children the passion and dedication to work that the family transmitted them. This passion has also transferred to the sports world, where Samuele has distinguished himself as a talented and successful cyclist. Sports and business are two different worlds, but they both require dedication, self-sacrifice, goal oriented and the capability to be a team player.<\/p>\n

We would like to emphasise now, the company’s activities and especially how some of Battistella\u2019s products for hygiene and sanitisation are usually requested by sports teams and used particularly in cycling. The health crisis of the last two years has increased the awareness for hygiene. Ozone is an eco-friendly sanitizing agent, requiring only the power of few watts to be produced, from simple oxygen. This, however, doesn’t reduce its efficiency, as ozone has an extremely high sanitizing power. The sanitization cycle of GEA cabin takes only 40 minutes, but the result is guaranteed and certified by Frattini accredited laboratory, through a microbial abatement test, carried out in 2018, when our GEA ozone sanitizing cabin showed extraordinary results.<\/p>\n

Ozone is exceptional because it eliminates pathogens, including bacteria, viruses and bad odours, without affecting any kind of material, not even the technical fabrics preferred by sportsmen. Communication is strange and has its rituals, myths and passions, and even anecdotes, and for us journalists, plays an important role.<\/p>\n
