Expodetergo International, the ever larger and differentiated Global Event dedicated to machinery, technologies, products and services for laundering, ironing and textile care, will run between 3 and 6 October 2014 at Fiera Milano (Rho) in Milan. Registrations continue to rise; four months prior to the event over 15,000 square meters (around 95%) of the available expo space has already been assigned to more than 235 exhibitors.<\/p>\n

\"expodetergo<\/a>EXPOdetergo International 2014 so far will host the leading manufacturers in the sector and companies from 21 countries: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, Switzerland, Hungary, the USA and the UK. The latest data shows that over a third of exhibitors are foreign, which proves the incredibly strong cross-borders orientation of EXPOdetergo International.<\/p>\n

The much awaited event this year will feature new technologies for industrial laundries, wet and dry cleaning, ironing, and a formidable range of products for the entire supply chain, from professional grade detergents and machines to textiles \u2013 bedding and table linens \u2013 all the way up to commercial vehicles for handling and delivering laundry to large end-users, particularly hospitals and hotels. A truly extraordinary show that could only be held in a country like Italy, recognized leader of the sector with the highest percentage of companies operating in the dry cleaning and ironing sectors world-wide.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cIn Italy alone\u00a0<\/i>\u2013 adds Miotto \u2013there are more than 1,000 industrial laundries and over 13,000 wet and dry cleaners in addition to an ever growing coin-op laundry market. A large part of EXPOdetergo International will feature eco-sustainability research and the progress made in terms of saving water and energy, which are crucial variables within a context where operating cost reductions are key competitive factors. The expo will also strengthen the connection between businesses in different sectors of the market and the related supply chain: from workwear laundry services (just gaining a foothold in Italy although well-established abroad) to textile manufacturers, committed to promoting the use of quality textiles as opposed to single-use paper and plastic products in the food service and hospitality sectors.<\/p>\n
