In the past years, Montanari has been focusing on the development of new systems with a strong technological connotation and increasingly interconnected among the various activities of the industrial laundries.
The objective is to encourage its own customers to radically change their way of working, raising up their skills and consequently increasing the productivity of the laundries, by making them more competitive on an increasingly demanding and selective market.
Among the various solutions of Montanari, we would like to focus on the new patented “CELERI 3D” system, that speeds up the linen handling stages starting from the exit from the ironing lines and up to the delivery phase, through the monitoring of deliveries and stock availability.
The innovative system allows the sorting of the linen into three directions by shifting the batch without rotating it due to a particular spherical texture of the conveyor, which increases the velocity and significantly reduces holdbacks as batches are divided into three different directions and the pusher is not needed.
Moreover, this type of linen handling system, facilitates a smooth linen sorting along the entire line, without any stops, and up to the destination area, reducing like this the critical mechanical issues and the safety of the operators compared to the old generation conveyors, significantly reducing plant downtime and maintenance.
The main characteristic features of this new system are concerning the design of the conveyor, made in a special spherical pattern, and calibrated according to the type of the linen that needs to be transported.
Linen sorting in the related areas is handled through a software/plc interface following the specific demands of the customers, as well as the order of priorities for the final deliveries. The conveyor can be used in various configurations including the “multi-layer” overlapping belts, making the system even more compact, being particularly recommended for laundries with limited space.
