The laundry is also fitted with the hygiene leader’s solutions to help clean the players’ kits, ready for the action.
This partnership combines Ecolab’s expertise with Manchester United’s focus on a cleaner, more sustainable future. The Club has committed to working with Ecolab to apply the latest low temperature innovations in laundry solutions for the washing and maintenance of the club football kits. Manchester United leads the football industry with its high standards and the same applies to cleaning and caring for its kit. A perfectly clean kit hung into the players’ dressing room always marks the start of a match, at Old Trafford and beyond. The bright red of the shirts and sparkling white of the white shorts embodies the values and standards the Club abide by. The full system is fitted with an efficient automatic dosing that delivers the right liquid quantity of the laundry program in use. The SoftGuard Delicate is a very gentle and ultra-efficient wash process for delicate textiles. The special chemistry of the main detergent Delicate Detergent combined with a special finishing agent Delicate Finish help to deliver the quality end users of delicate or special textiles wish for: spotless and freshly smelling textiles, ultrasoft touch and smooth texture, outstanding colour protection and maintenance of the original brilliance, minimised shrinkage, pilling or felting. Optimised low pH bleaching through the innovative bleaching and disinfecting of Delicate Des is highly efficient from just 30°C: the special mix of peracids helps to protect whiteness level at every wash and remove stains at these low temperatures in a very gentle set up.

OxyGuard40 delivers premium quality at just 40°C wash after wash
AdvaCare emulsion is able to contend with different healthcare stains in a low alkaline process from just 40°C, together with the disinfectant and bleach ADVACARE DES. In a similar way the hospitality program OxyGuard 40 is able to optimise the freshwater consumption and reduce CO2 emissions, through a specific process set up and water management done by our laundry experts. OxyGuard 40 solution delivers outstanding cleanliness and whiteness at just 40°C, over a large range of hospitality stains, fat, grease, cosmetics, even sun creams. The Performance industrial solution has delivered a new level of sustainable cleanliness for professional and heavily soiled workwear and textiles, thanks to a new process set up that enables an effective cleanliness at 55°C.

Outstanding colour protection and preservation of the technical features of professional workwear, including also high visibility stripes, is achieved, wash after wash, and helps to prevent the soil from redepositing and impregnating the fibres.
