Some love the words, others may prefer the images; the younger ones are attracted by the smart tools they can interact with, the older ones prefer to lose themselves in their memories and living again with the eyes wide open, the moments from the story of their life.
So, when we have been asked to tell our story, we have chosen to combine history, tradition and technology to immerse our audience in a virtual dimension through a real-life journey through the years and up to the present. An experience of pure beautiness, a museum that describes more than 50 years of life of Italy’s leading laundry equipment manufacturer whose core business is also a vocation: the treatment of all types of fabric, from water-washing to the finishing process. The Miotto family will be the guide on this journey, who has been and who it is bringing a touch of magic to the journey.
IMESA was selected from 112 companies in the region to develop its project within the “Atelier Museo d’Impresa” contest – Work tells its own story to discover the company’s heritage, promoted by the Veneto Region. The initiative was created with the aim of enhancing the corporate heritage of the Veneto companies, by strengthening their ties with their territory and becoming a flywheel of economic, social and cultural growth. It is a story that doesn’t stops today but which looks to the future, a museum that grows up together with us, that interacts with our guests and brings them into the IMESA world. And this is how the showcase of our brand heritage becomes a meeting place for companies and operators where they get to know each other, discussing and encouraging the integration and the enhancement of their mutual know-how.
A journey where we invite all our guests to participate, at the EXPOdetergo International 2022 trade show. But the innovations presented to our booth will certainly not end up here. For IMESA, EXPOdetergo International 2022 is the perfect stage where it can be showcased the enthusiasm and the determination that was driving us in these difficult years, when we refused to stand, watch and hope with an exaggerated caution for better times, leaving the time to pass dangerously fast. Resilience? Courage? Stubbornness? We like to call it Entrepreneurship. The decision to invest in a corporate transformation, the path that IMESA took four years ago, is the result of a mindset change, challenging but necessary and strongly motivated by the goals identification.
People and Skills, two key words of great importance in the change process.
The combination of new personnel and new IMESA company members, with the longstanding and experienced staff, is the formula that has generated innovation and has speeded up the business improvement processes that are indispensable to a steadily ascending path. The result is a lean organisation where cross-functional relationships and the concept of team working have replaced the management approach.
More reliable and efficient products able to meet the needs of all potential laundry operators. IMESA aims to increase quality and improve safety and reliability through the work of an engineers and technicians’ team, working together to develop and “stress” the machines to the point of identifying their limits, with the goal of defeating and overcoming them. This is what it happens every day in our Laboratory, the hotspot of IMESA.
During the EXPOdetergo International 2022 trade fair, it will be possible to see the entire Made in Imesa washing, drying and ironing range. In particular, we will turn on a spotlight on the FI flatwork ironers line, which will be presented to the public with a new look and a new concept. There will no longer be one machine for everyone, but a machine for each one, customized based on the ironing, interactivity and control needs. So, not only a better performance and the guarantee of a high ironing result, the new FI flatwork ironers line becomes also customer-friendly.
TECHNOLOGY AT THE SERVICE OF THE CUSTOMER
For better understanding what customers really need, it is essential to have clear priorities and to design efficient digital services that are increasingly tailored to their needs. In this perspective, IMESA developed IMConnect, Laundry for You and optimised the IM11 and IM10 customer interfaces. IMConnect is the IMESA’s solution for the efficient remote management of the laundry. Quick, simple and safe, IMConnect is the portal for real-time production control, capturing valuable data on the work cycles and essential consumption, ensuring high organisational agility.
Analysing, programming, supervising, anticipating, solving and managing – all in one! All possible with IMConnect.
Laundry For You is IMESA’s app dedicated to the laundry manager and, very soon, also to the end user of IMESA machines. By interacting with the IMESA IMConnect portal, the app Laundry for You is able to provide certain essential data of interest data to the laundry manager quickly accessible on Android, as well as offering a customised showcase where to communicate with customers and develop business initiatives.
Laundry for You will be soon prepared to enable the user of the laundry service to access the online payment and the machine booking system. IM11 and IM10, the two interfaces mounted on IMESA’s LM, RC and D2W washing machines range and ES dryers, are able to transmit essential data to the IMConnect portal thanks to their wi-fi connection, in accordance with the 4.0 Industry requirements.
THE EXPERIENCE OF A COMPLETE PROCESS
To conclude this quick overview prepared for our visitors at the IMESA booth at EXPOdetergo International 2022, we could not miss to mention OPTIWASH, the newly launched detergents line by IMESA. Why a detergents line? Because IMESA strongly believes in the central role of the process. Optimising a washing process means knowing and mastering its dynamics and parameters, intervening consciously in the various stages to ensure the best performance in terms of economy, cleanliness, control and long lasting of the fabric.
