Ecolab Textile Care division provides products, systems, services that completely fulfill the different demand of the industrial laundries. We are conscious of the complex and various scenarios of the commercial and industrial laundries, and thinking about the laundry dimension, the technology background and type of service and assistance required on site, Textile Care division specialists create customized washing programs each time as well as energy and equipment or dosing system solutions.
Since 1999, Ecolab has worked on 40°C processes with Turbo Clean & Safe, developed for all the delicate textiles while PERformance40 has been developed for 40°C hospital linen sanitized washing. Since 2011, PERformance40 has been chosen by more than 300 laundries all over Europe. Its results combine an extremely high degree of whiteness, fresh and vibrant colours over long textile cycles, outstanding finish quality and perfect hygienic results, certified RKI which has been approved by the Ministry of Health in various countries, thanks to the broad biocide action at 40°C. Thanks to the powerful wash chemistry of Dermasil emulsion and the biocide Ozonit 40, which is also gentle on textiles, the process is efficient at only 40°C against all micro-organisms (bacteria, virus, fungi, spores, yeast, etc).
To complete its 40°C offer, Ecolab has now developed OxyguardTM40, a 40°C process dedicated to hospitality and accommodation business. OxyguardTM40 enables excellent low-temperature washing just at 40°C, providing multiple benefits to the laundry customer:
OxyguardTM40 is the first Industrial Laundry wash system which complies totally with the stringent design and production process requirements of the EU Ecolabel Directive DE/039/002. OxyguardTM40 has been specially developed to meet the Ecolabel criteria which ensure environmental protection at every stage of its lifecycle from manufacture and choice of the product components through to its demonstrably high cleaning performance.
This program combines the latest developments in terms of chemistry with compounds effective from 40°C in the main detergent OxyGuard emulsion and in the bleaching system OxyGuard Bright beta & OxyGuard Bright alpha. These two components work together in a perfect synergy, to adapt the oxidizing power to soiling and textiles for maximum efficiency combined with the best textile protection. They guarantee maximum efficiency of stain removal combined with high protection of fibers.
Ecolab is sensitive to preserving the natural resources of the planet and to reducing the environmental impact while providing sustainable solutions and services. OxyguardTM40 is cost efficient and allows to decrease the total operating costs through lower water and energy consumption and extended textile lifetime. Effective at lower temperatures, it helps decrease the laundry investments in gas, water and textiles thanks to the new chemistry at 40°C against standard washing processes at 70°-80°C.

OxyguardTM40 provides a safe and easy solution obtained through the use of liquid products, stable and certified quality, with components approved by the demands of the Eu-Ecolabel laundry products certification. The system is flexible yet simple and can be adapted to all laundry configurations. It can be set up very quickly because it requires no complicated equipment, only pumps. Due to its high efficiency, this program is also suitable for the heaviest soiled textiles by adapting dosages and temperature in the different machine types, tunnel or washing extractors.
