Maestrelli, the innovation of a “historical” brand

Maestrelli, a well-established business with its headquarters in San Giorgio di Piano near Bologna, did its best not to stop during the pandemic and make the most of the time of the “general pause” to continue their research and development so that their range of industrial laundry machines could be implemented further.

In particular, as far as dry-cleaning goes, the company does do not produce a great lot of machines (still) using perchloroethylene (the solvent is commonly used out of Europe and North America). We have made a further step forward while focusing on alternative solvent machines both hydrocarbons and silicon, from Sensene to Intense, from K4 to HIGLO, among the many universally renowned ones today.

Our DREAM CLEAN line consists of 10kg to 45 kg machines. The machines are both without distillation (they allow to reduce the electricity, water and solvent consumptions. Thanks to a double filtering system based on a rotative nylon and a large cartridge filter, they allow to obtain a clean solvent at all times) and with distillation. What is more, they can be rigid or suspended (equipped with actual shock absorbers just like high-spin washers) to offer even shorter washing cycles and very high productivity.

We can say the the results of our great effort and work are already there; countries that until some time ago were not too sensitive about these aspects, are now quickly changing. This year, we have sold 2 hydrocarbon suspended machines with distillation in Morocco, 45 kg each 2 (the biggest and most advanced machines from the technological point of view when it comes to our entire range) to be installed in the biggest sports center in Africa (the headquarters of the Moroccan Football Federation, among others).

We believe that dry-cleaning carried out in a closed circuit (therefore, without any possible contamination coming from the outside) that reaches temperatures higher than 70°C during the drying stage, turns out ideal to guarantee sanitization and hygiene that are more and more requested today. The line really does look like the one to follow!

The production is completed by washers that present low, medium and high spin functions. The models start from 8kg to 120kg capacity. Let us not forget about the XWB models with 25kg capacity (a brand-new version that has just been launched onto the market) and the 35kg and 70kg sanitary barrier machines (equipped with a double door, where one is used to load the linen and the other one to download it so that any possible bacteria contamination is avoided). The latter are particularly suitable for hospitals and medical centers.

Obviously, we need to mention the dryers. We offer machines starting from 10kg to 120kg capacity, including the closed circuit line (the machines do not need to unload the hot air externally). They allow to obtain significant saving in terms of energy. We cannot forget about the MX sanitizing cabin that allows to sanitize (thanks to the ozone technology) garments like jackets, trousers, sweaters, bath robes, uniforms, workwear, motorcycle suits, sports helmets, shoes, boots as well as fabrics like towels, covers, cushions, curtains, bed covers, etc. (today, we are so much exposed to this topic). What is more, the sanification cycle takes 15/20 minutes, which translates to a very short time and high profitability!

What else should we say?

Today more than ever, Maestrelli is ready to react and propose anything that the market needs. We will always be there!
