HOST 2021, ARCHIMEDE and GIOVE ALCOHOL-STEAM, the first international trade fair after the pandemic, two patents and many green projects, this is how it closes the year of 2021 for Battistella.

An essential but eloquent summary of the year that is approaching to its end. The year 2021 was, according to many opinions, even more complicated than 2020. In many foreign countries there is still a strict lockdown regime which, in addition to the recent problems regarding the raw material transport and supply chains, there is the risk of creating a vicious cycle.

Fortunately, the boost provided by the vaccination campaign, partially settled the things in the second half of the year. Finally, after two years (the last international trade fair before Covid was HOST 2019) we are all back again face to face, in presence and this is definitely a very important step.

The Ho.Re.Ca. sector cannot live virtually, it belongs in the real world. Although it has been a very complicated year, Battistella has invested a lot in the research and development, a key factor in a market that is so quickly evolving.

Launched in April 2021, Archimede has literally changed the sector of the industrial ironing tables. The significant savings regarding the transport costs without the need of sacrificing performance, combined with the easiness in folding the ironing table, earned Battistella the
first patent in March 2021.

Starting from January 2022, the new ArchimedeF line will be available. The cold version of the folding table, will allow an additional 30% electricity saving. Conceived and developed during the first lockdown in 2020, the Giove steam generator is an innovative system that is exploiting the sanitising action of the steam combined with that of the alcohol. The steam is heated to 4.5 BAR, at approximately 180°, while the alcohol is mixed with the steam.

It is an ideal product for sanitising the garments but moreover for the daily used objects such as handles, handrails and many others. Besides being patented, this system is also certified by an accredited laboratory, which, by carrying out bacterial measurements
before and after applying the treatment with Giove, has certified an almost total elimination of all the pathogenic bacteria.

But Archimede and Giove are not the only innovations… in fact, Battistella is completing a green transition in line with the new European regulations and guidelines. In fact, starting from the 1st of September 2021, no manuals will be inserted inside the products. Each label on the machines contains a QR code, which it is leading you directly to the page
on our website, where the customer can find the manual, the technical data sheet and the tutorial on how to use the product.

Right, the tutorial…and last but not least, the web communication! In 2021 it is essential to be present and visible online, especially in a world paralysed by the health crisis, where travelling has been drastically reduced. The only way to stay in touch and attract possible
buyers is to make your company visible on all platforms.

Battistella is active on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and LinkedIn. On our social channels you can find tutorials on our machines, technical and commercial information, and moreover some sections like “How it’s done” or “Ironing with Angela”, as well as some explanatory videos to support customers and anyone interested.
